Chiefs Rumor from Shanahan's son - Page 19

I talked to Kyle Shanahan last night, Mike's son. I ran into him at Cherry Creek Mall in the Oakley Store here in Denver. He said his dad is going to coach this year and most likely for the Chiefs. There is one other team out there that could land his Dad, but KC is closer to Denver and Shanahan would like to be as close to Colorado as possible. Anyway, take it for what it's worth.

The Chiefs are probably dragging this out long enough to where people forget what the **** is going on and quietly keep Herm the germ.

Agreed, but that was the Carl way. Pioli has and will approach this differently.

Althought I'm vehemently against having Shanahan as a coach(not for coaching ability, but because he was in Denver for 15 years), if this did happen, we'd now have 2 rats on the sidelines:

Your statmene came across more like in the nFL the HC gets to choose his DC/OC's. Not that you were being specific to this team and this GM.

As far as your in at the team. You may have had this in the past but I would not be surprised if this changes under Pioli. If we are going to run things the Patritots way then nothing is leaked that they don't want leaked.

They could always move Herm to the front office... Hunt still has to honor his contract -- unless he moves to another team.
