I'm the opposite. The idea that people who are drowning, or falling, or crashing, shot, etc. and have the conscience thought of knowing what is going to happen is one of the most terrifying and lonely thoughts imaginable.

I agree with that, too. I guess death is a real downer either way.

I just don't like the idea of thinking that when I go to bed at night, I may never wake up again. It seems like common courtesy of nature or God or whomever to let you know it's happening.
