Who to draft in 2010

Ok, assuming we have a top 3 pick which I'm sure we will, the O-line is the biggest issue, along with a lot of other issues but that is first. So why not do this.

1st- Best Tackle
2nd- Best Guard
2nd - Best Guard

3-7 fill in the blanks.

This would put us in a good situation and would have a good line for the next 8-10 years, assuming none of them have career ending injuries.

The best teams in the league built their OL's out of the first but by all means we need a top 5 pick and a top 15 pick on the OL to just be ok.

your right, we have so much time to devolp a couple 3rd and 4th round OL. i mean, our OL isn't really that bad right now. is it?

we need a whole new right side of the OL.we dont need to draft the best play making RB out there right now

Devils advocate: we aren't like most teams. We haven't won a playoff game since Joe freaking Montana

Did having an awesome OL with the Chiefs a playoff game? No it didn't...

And this idea that it takes years for offensive lineman to develop is bunk. Interior linemen are generally good from day 1. If they're gonna be good they don't have massive learning curves, look at how many guys step in at guard in their rookie years and do well.

F yeah. I've been saying this to my friends & family but if we're drafting top 3, it'd better be a guy who can win us some games.

I'm not calling him a bust and I understand that the D-line is important. But I have a little bit of a problem they spent the 3rd overall draft pick on a guy last year who will be asked his whole career to just eat up blocks.... That's F-ed up.

Well the Chiefs ****ed up and switched to 3-4 when the best draft prospect is a defensive end but hey we can't draft him now...that's great eh?

I asked this in another thread but this one is better for the subject. Asuming we are drafting #3, give me your perfect, but reasonable draft. I know we can't predict what underclassmen are coming out, but give it a shot.

I want Berry but the problem is we can't do shit offensively because our O-Line is so shitty.

Then again I look at St. Louis who took Jason Smith and they still suck.

The Cassel trade fugged everything up last year. Jackson was defacto pick by default bc of it. Jackson is going to have a nice career but everyone will think he sucks just by his position.

Do I really need to point to you that most of the best teams in the league have no 1st round offensive lineman or they have ones taken very late in the first?

You have more than 1 draft pick it's possible to take Berry and address the line.

JFC you little ****ing twerp.

How many ****ing championships has this team won in the years when they had some of the best O-Lines in the league.

In the 90s, a damn good O-Line and only one playmaker not single ****ing playmaker on offense.

In the Dick years, the best O-Line in the game and only one ****ing playmaker, and not single one on defense.

You can build O-line in the mid rounds.
Teams like the Giants do it every ****ing year.

If you are drafting at the tiop of the draft, you take potential playmakers because you need playmakers to win championships.

But you go ahead and build your O-Line you dumb****.

Smith got moved to right tackle and got hurt. But St. Louis front office is one screwed up case.

Yes, whoever it is should at least make a big difference for us and help win us a few games because of their outstanding play. That should be what a top 5 pick gives you.
