If "The Kicker" didn't miss, the Chiefs woulda won that playoff game vs. Indy. If Joe didn't get hurt, the Chiefs woulda made the super-bowl in 94.
The fact is, KU sucks. NDSU shouldn't have even made it a close game in regards to each teams status in CFB. However, as it was stated earlier, if both teams were to go at it again tomorrow, it would be a coin flip. Sorry dude but that's a fact.

Billay, I love ya man but with this type of logic, Iowa State is on the same level as NU and Oklahoma. Didn't they beat NU last year?

Prepare to hear something related to Mizzou in response. Somehow, the fact that Mizzou isn't as good of a program as Oklahoma means that Nebraska is as good of a program as Oklahoma. I'm still trying to connect the dots, myself.

Theres a difference though Gonzo. Iowa State didn't have a top 25 recruiting class followed by one of the best recruiting classes in school history while being ranked in the top 10. Let's see how the year finishes out.

K-State's existence really is the dagger.

That's why I was hoping the Big 12 would break up, and K-State would drift away.

I been saying this for years.

Eventually the rest of our fanbase will realize this. KSU has no business being a BCS level school. If Missouri State is a non BCS school in a state with twice the population of Kansas. How in the hell did KSU get admitted into being a BCS level school? I'm not saying without a second BCS school in KS, KU would be an absolute college football power. However, I believe things would be easier for the KU football program competing in a stadium with a capacity of 70k, as the lone BCS school in a sparsely populated state. ( think Arkansas) What I'm saying is, The population in KS is small for one BCS school, let alone two.

Without KSU, I believe instate recruiting and support would be to KU what it is to a school like Arkansas with a similiar state population to KS. Everybody in Arkansas gets behind the Razorbacks and most instate recruits want to play there. They play in a 70k stadium, not 50k like KU. KU football doesn't have that kind of impact in Kansas, because people have another BCS school to cheer for. I long for the day when KU becomes the lone BCS school in KS, like they already should be. It would make a big difference for KU football instate recruiting. We may not get every top instate recruit, but atleast we're not having to split it up with another instate BCS school.

Im not sure if KState fans should be talking, I know they just beat UCLA, but last season they lost to Southwestern Louisiana-Lafayette.

They are a much different team this year. They'll make a bowl game Kansas won't and if you compare recruiting it's not even close.

They lost to The University of Louisiana at Lafayette on the road, on a last minute field goal. While that is still pathetic as UL is a Sun Belt team, they aren't a FCS team that went 3-8 the year before.
