At 8:30 AM (CST) Tuesday morning Chiefs GM Scott Pioli, Head Coach Todd Haley and President Mark Donovan will hold a press conference at the Chiefs Training Facility. Pioli, Haley and Donovan will unveil plans for operating under terms of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, the club's training camp plans and answer questions.

If practicing less in pads means prolonging players careers, helps keep them fresh for the post season or helps cut down on injuries, then im all for it.

This is why I wasted my time at least 3x before I stopped attending pressers when I had credentials. I'm a slow learner but not really that slow. I mean, it's a kick in the pants to be in the locker-room postgame once but when everybody is providing coach-speak answers then what's the point? I don't have the patience for that kind of assignment.

You could have the them in pads in the evening and then the next morning. That wouldn't be a two-a-day but it would be two padded practices in a row. Just looking for ways for the players to get into football shape.
