Tamba Hali is criminally underrated

Best pass rusher in the league right now, and it isn't really close. The guy gets to the QB on every. Single. Play. He's an unstoppable, unblockable, no quit, high motor player and he puts Jared Allen to shame. I would submit he's the best pass rusher this team has seen since Derrick Thomas. I hope we get a QB and some other pieces in place soon so we don't waste his incredible talent. BEAST. I love watching him play. Easily the biggest bright spot of this season. Hats off to him.

Allen never got a sack in the 4th quarter for us.

And Flowers as it has been said is playing just as well as last year. But some idiots like you think because he's allowed a few touchdowns to Calvin freaking Johnson and against the Bills too he has been playing bad... NO.

And by the way FAX you have way too much time on your hands to write like that to insult me.

Actually, that didn't take much time at all.

Did it one-handed, too.

Besides, I wasn't insulting you. Just can't see how people can make judgments when they don't know the play or the responsibilities involved. Everybody does it from time to time ... including me.

Flowers may not even be the best CB on the team, let alone the best defensive player. The best defensive player on the Chiefs is currently out for the year with a torn ACL.

Are those the same experts that call Derrick Johnson our rush backer and insist over and over and over again that Brandon Albert should be moved to LG where he's supposedly more comfortable because he played two years there in college?

Also, you didn't really use any stats or evidence to prove your opinion. You just said, "Tamba isn't the best defensive player on this team" and then walked away.

Also, you're still a goddamn idiot.

You can make an argument for Berry but I disagree that he is the best player. He might have become the best one later on had he played but last year he was certainly not better than Hali, Flowers and maybe Johnson.

Flowers is awesome, but if QBs can sit in the pocket all day, it doesn't really matter. Without Hali, our pass rush would be an absolute joke.

Moving to the 3-4 has worked out great for Hali, and mainly because Hali has made the most of it.

There was a lot of drama on here when he got drafted, sure glad Carl got this one right.

Look, that's just my opinion. When I watch the Chiefs, I feel like Flowers is doing a better job at what a cornerback is supposed to do than Hali at OLB.

You should know that stats are not the best way to judge a CB and even then I don't have time to look for them.

It's mostly my eye test that says that Flowers is better and trust me I'm far from the only one to think so, if you disagree with it fine, most Chiefs fans probably also think Hali is better.

It's also with my eye test that I considered Jamaal Charles and McFadden better RBs than Arian Foster last year despite the stats. Just more speed, more elusiveness and most of all better vision.

Flowers has been outplayed by Carr since the end of last season. Time to get your eyes checked.
