I think it was a fumble but I'm not sure where you get this indisputable evidence from. The ball left his hand at almost the exact same time his foot touched the white.

Whether they can do anything or not, it's a helluva lot better to be down 2 points with the ball than down 5 with another minute or two burned off the clock (whatever time it took for the Chiefs to run a few plays then kick the figgie).

Oh hell no. 1:34 - 1:36. He clearly starts transferring the ball to the other hand and loses it before his right foot lands out of bounds.

Not to be a dick, but seriously, if you watched the whole game, the Packers were doing diddly, and they would've had the ball at near the 20 anyway after the FG. There is no reason to believe they even get to mid-field.
