The Donks will inquire about Peyton Manning
The Broncos are expected to place a phone call to Manning's agent, Tom Condon, to gauge their chances, according to an NFL source close to the situation. If Manning's contract can be structured so that the team would be protected in case Manning's troublesome neck becomes an issue, the Broncos could well be players.

I sincerely hope not. A 36 year old qb coming off 4 neck surgeries that hasn't taken a live snap in over a year is not the solution, even when said qb is a first ballot hof'er.

And the Chiefs weapons are overrated. Bowe puts up numbers because they have nobody else. Breaston is overrated because what he did with Warner 3 years ago. And Baldwin never did anything but make a few crazy catches, kinda reminds me of Ashley Lelie.
We have Charles and that's. Everybody saying how talented we are really needs to get a clue.

Look at what Manning has done w/ scrub WR's in Indy....turned them into viable starting threats in the NFL. Manning > Warner, Manning would immediately make every player on this offense A LOT better. QB was the only thing missing from this offense....maybe a little Oline help, but our Oline got blamed a lot because of who was behind center. You can say what you want about Baldwin, but this is someone that would be able to practice w/ Manning an entire offseason etc. Not gonna bail on the guy after one (rookie) season where he missed a bunch of time.

Baldwin is a rookie. its well documented that rookie recievers dont tend to break out. just ask demarious thomas. Steve breaston is a legit #2 reciever in the league. There is nobody on the broncos offensive roster that i would take over our players at any position.

If I were Manning, I would choose the Chiefs. If I were the Broncos, I would do whatever I could to drive the price up.

The Chiefs have some excellent players. That'll happen when you consistently draft in the top ten.

I would also think that coaching staff is a huge ? for Peyton. Reggie Bush? A guy who put together about 8 games? Ha. The Dolphins should honestly be at the bottom. They've swung and missed more the last 2 years than Mike Jacobs.

I still doubt that the interest being expressed by Denver is sincere with Manning. And, regarding the talent on Denver... Thomas and Decker have done very well, they're not consistently proven top threat guys yet, but last year was their 2nd season in the league and with a 2nd QB with an offense that didn't pass a ton, and they still did pretty well.
I think we'll see a nice improvement with them this year - the jury is still out, but to suggest that they're garbage is silly. And, I agree with this ... ideally, I think KC would make the most sense because of what I mentioned before (coaching would be more apt to let him do his thing, RC is more defensive focused like Dungy and the division is weaker).
