Yost said they wanted Gordon to be relied on as a 3-4-5 hitter from this point forward. He always tanks when he's put anywhere but leadoff, or in 7 or 8 hole. What is he now since being moved? Zip for nine with no walks?

Had the game going on the computer, sitting at the table while we ate dinner. Girlfriend looked at the game and said, "I don't like the White Sox." Even she knows and shes doesn't follow baseball. Hope the bullpen comes through here.

if our lineup projected for 2014 all works out. it shouldnt matter who hits where except the 3 hole imo

Nevermind. Herrera in for the 8th. Although with only 85 pitches I would like to see him go back out there.

I'm telling you, Alex would be IDEAL in the 2 hole. But we really don't have anyone ideal for the one hole, so why not -

1- Gordon, LF
2 - Cain, CF
3 - Moose, 3B
4 - Butler, DH
5 - Hosmer, 1B
6 - Perez, C
7 - Myers, RF
8 - Getz/Gio platoon
9 - Escobar, SS

That is a really good lineup. I can't remember the last time we had good hitters in basically every spot of the lineup. That is of course assuming Hosmer gets it together for next season.
