You'll get no argument from me that Dorsey ****ed up the 2013 and 2014 offseasons pretty bad by getting them in the wrong order. It made little sense to spend money like he did after 2012 and then back away from his success and basically treat 2014 like a season the team just has to eat in order to set themselves up for the future. And the decision to take ZERO WRs in last year's draft is the kind of idiocy only trumped by Pioli's decision to draft zero QBs in 2012.

That has no bearing whatsoever on 2015, when the Chiefs OBVIOUSLY felt the need to be aggressive in free agency. I have a really hard time believing that Dorsey would have stood pat if this happened:

DORSEY: "Hey Mickey? It's John. How ya doin, buddy? Listen, could we work out a deal for Ben Grubbs?"
LOOMIS: "No. Go **** yourself."
DORSEY: "Alrighty then. Have a nice day."
