"The Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office says 44-year-old Ken Singleton of Marrero died from asphyxiation while breaking into a business in Marrero.

According to the JPSO, Singleton tried to break into Greg’s Food Store on Westwood Drive by entering through the commercial kitchen vent but got stuck.

Deputies say the owner arrived Saturday morning and discovered Singleton’s legs hanging from the vent. He was pronounced dead at the scene."

The kitchen vent is greasy and dirty. Die from asphyxiation in that tight confine is a horrible way to go.
