Not sure why this thread got so long.
What the OP quotes an NBA exec as saying is basically "Taxpayers better pony up cash the next time one of our owners wants you to pay 80%+ of their new stadium which you will see no revenue from or we will move your team." It isn't meant to give hope to people in KC that they may get a franchise, its a veiled threat to any city that might balk at paying hundreds of millions for something they will get nothing out of. |
