Dehumanizing Drama: Delta Declines Delay to Disinfect Dookie!

Unless someone I loved desperately needed me on that plane, I would have stayed behind. Doesn't get much worse than having to sit two hours in mystery poo. My experience with Delta personnel has been similar to the behavior in this story. Horrible. I avoid Delta whenever possible. I know it's a tough gig, but you should find another job if it forces you to lose your humanity. Geez.

On another note, the "service animal" situation is out of control. People can get fictional certificates anywhere, and do. Service animals are trained to help people with disabilities, as outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act. Untrained service animals should NOT be allowed just to provide "emotional support" to scared fliers or the intellectually feeble. And certainly not a tool to circumvent putting a pet with the air cargo. And yet, as far as I know, S.2738 has sat in committee since April.
