If it is Packers vs Chiefs, I don't see a logical reason why refs would favor either team. Saints fans complaining about one awful call from years ago probably got them the calls vs the Bucs last year but the Saints turnovers still did them. If its Bucs vs the Patriots, Patriots may get the calls with the Sith Lord(Bill Belichick) grabbing the torch from that ingrate Brady and passing it to his new more loyal son Mac Jones. 20 more years of hell for most opposing fans except for teams like the Broncos, Baltimore and Giants who will win multiple SB again. How will the pathetic Giants win again? The NY Giants who will end up drafting the next Manning who is destined to put up pedestrian stats like Eli but he will still win 2 Super Bowls against Mac Jones and the Patriots. And you think Bill Belichick will be dead or retired by then. He may but his sons are being groomed to take over. Same thing with Bob Kraft. Dynasties are called dynasties for a reason and they are not dependent upon 1 or 2 people. Just a little stupid corny trolling. In reality, I wouldn't be surprised to see Patriots vs Chiefs in this years AFC playoffs. Playoffs much more likely to be decided by injuries than refs. Patriots lost 3 Super Bowls with Brady. Some New England fans blame refs for at least one loss vs Giants. I don't. I blame Brady having an ankle sprain and some bad coaching for first SB loss, Gronk having a severe ankle sprain for 2nd SB loss and Edelman being out and other injuries may have doomed team vs Eagles. But I don't really complain too much about those injuries since I damn well realize injuries influence every NFL game and Patriots success has been partly based upon that understanding. Build a deeper team more resilient to injuries. For all of the complaints about pass interference calls in last years SB...maybe Bucs should have gotten 1 less of them... the much bigger factor was Chiefs bad line play and Mahomes bailing out too early on plays in which the line actually blocked well. |
