Alternative mock draft format

I have been exploring different ways of thinking about the draft and one idea did occur to me, and I thought it might be fun to share.

We could do a cp mock draft in a bid format where each person, representing a team, could bid points from a pool determined by their teams picks.

IE if you are the chiefs gm, you have 724 points to bid on players.

Alternatively, we could assign values to players and determine how best to allocate points to obtain those players as an alternative format for our individual mock drafts.

My question is, would there be folks interested in participating in a CP auction style draft? I have a decent idea of how we might accomplish it if so.

I feel this would be an interesting test of the valuation models and tables that draft pundits use to value picks. It could also provide insight into where value lies in the draft.
