Should the Chiefs be open to trading picks from next year's draft?
It occurred to me this morning that the chiefs could end up with a bevy of comp picks from:
OBJ, JJSS, Hardman, Thornhill (potential thirds?) In addition to Wylie, Dunlap, Saunders, Allegretti (potential day 3s?) In addition to surprises from other free agents: Bell, McKinnon, Nnandi, etc. So with that in mind, does it make sense to expend some draft capital from next year's draft to target higher value prospects or even veteran trades to bring in additional resources for this year? I can't imagine that the team will need like 15 picks next year. |
