Overall I feel pretty good about this season. We have had a ton of injuries to major contributors. I know that happens league-wide but you really can’t just hand wave playing most of the season without your WR1, WR2, WR4, RB1, DE2, DT2, and CB2.

Anyone want to imagine how much worse the Bengals’ season would look if they were missing Chase, Higgins and Brown all year long with a turnstile at LT? Or the Ravens if Lamar was short Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers and Bateman? Or the Bills if Josh Allen was down Cook, Shakir and Cooper?

The 49ers and Rams have both dealt with massive injuries like we have and they’re struggling to maintain a .500 record. Even if you flip a few of these one-score wins, we’d probably still be like 7-5 at the absolute worst with one of the more difficult schedules this year.

Totally forgot the obvious comparison: imagine the Lions without Amon-Ra, Jamo, Montgomery and Gibbs (because we’ve technically been without our RB2 all season as well)

Lions would be garbage if that was the case.
