Odd that you mentioned it. Well ... not really.

The afore mentioned gloves were greeted with tears of joy. The meal was a huge success and the extra food (tons of it) was sent on it's merry way.

So, I'm leaving work and another old and long time female coworker stops me. She calls me son, I call her Ma. She's a season ticket holder and she hands me her ticket to the game tomorrow, with a, "Merry Christmas, Son!" I was like, "Wow! Thanks Ma!"

Another older lady and fellow coworker says, "That was so sweet. I wish I could do that for my grandson. He's never even been to a Chiefs game."

I looked at her, looked back at Ma knowingly, she nodded and smiled, and I walked over to the woman, handed her the ticket and said, "Merry Christmas. Make it special for your grandson."

What an odd day. At this rate, I may show up to the gathering tonight and kiss EnDelt or something.

Eeeuuwww. I may have to stay home now.
