Walking a 4 mile course, up and down rolling hills, and hitting a golf ball about 50 times [from the fairway, or worse] is not as easy as it looks. Then do it four days in a row. And in the down time between rounds, hit about 1000 golf balls at the practice range.

If you were to do this, you would probably not be able to bend over and touch your toes on Monday.
