Chiefs SBK's random thoughts from today's game

I was perched up in the first row, upper deck 50 yard line for the 1st half, here's a few of my thoughts. Sat behind the Falcons family members on the club level in the 2nd half. Anywho.....

1. The guy about 5 rows behind us that would yell, "YES, YES, YES!!!" when we'd get a stop on 3rd down was hilarious. (sec 347, row 5 or so, if that was you tell me so I can rep you)

2. When we finally got our 1st First Down in the 2nd Quarter this guy turned around and yelled at the whole section, "IN YO FACE!!!" Yes, I lost it, best fan by far.

3. Lots of KC fans at the game. A few thousand. The dome was only 50% full or so, and the gameday experience there is horrendous. They need to fire whoever is in charge of that. High school football games are more fun.

4. Our LB's and S's suck. Our run problems stemmed from them not being able to tackle, or be in position, or wrap up on tackles, or see the play. They're horrible. None of them should be any higher than backups on this roster. (the current starters anyway)....

5. Our DT position is great. Our DE's can't get any pressure, but our defensive problems don't come from Dorsey and Tank, they did a great job.

6. Turk saved a touchdown when he stopped that reverse in the backfield. Seriously, nobody else was even on that 1/2 of the field, or further than 5 yards from the line of scrimmage. If he let go, or missed that tackle it was 6.

7. Albert was ok, got beat some, held his own most of the time. He was one on one with Abraham most of the game (when I was paying attention.) I think he's going to be ok, probably pretty good.

8. The right side of our line is far worse than it looks on tv. McIntosh should retire out of shame. He's pathetic. I don't think he blocked anyone all day. His buddy at RG is even worse if that's possible. I could have had 3-4 sacks playing those 2 bums.

9. We need a new coach.

10. Mr. Hunt looks like a punk kid.

11. That guy that sat behind me made my day.

12. Tyler Thigpen is a poor man's Michael Vick. Very poor man's. Only he's not exciting, not super fast, and is even less accurate (if that's possible).

13. We suck so bad that I didn't have anyone give me a hard time. No smack whatsoever. They must have felt it was like picking on a crippled kid.

14. We are not going to win a game this year. Being down 24-0 to a team as bad as the Falcons in the first half tells you everything you need to know. We're not only the worst team in the league, we're one of the worst of all time. At least we didn't give up though. We're watching history this year no doubt about it.

15. Our coaching is worse than our talent. We'd win some if our coaches would put us in a position to win. We need to fire every single one of them this off season and start over. Especially on defense.
