hilight video in link-

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recrui...ecruitId=71641

I dont know what they are talking about his size cause im a shade under 6-2 and chase is taller than i am. And when i seen him at X-mas he looked every bit of 225.
I hope he goes to LSU so i can go to see a nfl & LSU game same weekend.

Evaluation

After watching film of Williams, it's hard not to first recognize this guy as simply a very good "football player." A two-way standout at both linebacker and tight end, we feel he may get recruited at both depending on a program's needs. His good blend of size, strength, athleticism and ball skills is impressive. Looks a bit shorter than his listed measurables but has good overall size and well-layered bulk for an inside linebacker prospect. Fills his middle run gaps hard, fast and with square shoulder pads. Shows good first-step quickness. Makes sound reads versus two-back, power-running schemes and is difficult to turn out of the hole with his good combination of downhill burst and size. Very stout and productive between the tackles and often beats blockers to the point of attacking allowing him make a lot of plays on or behind the line of scrimmage. Takes good inside-out angles on the ball. Scrapes adequately well off-tackle but feel his range and speed is better suited for the short-area when projecting for the next level. Would have like to see a bit more explosiveness. Shows some wasted motion opening to turn and run to the sideline and when dropping in coverage. Does display good mobility dropping back in his middle hook zone and anticipation skills reading the quarterback. Is a solid, disciplined tackler who wraps his head around the football and drives through from his hips but does have a tendency to lunge and leave his feet at times showing some lack of balance and leverage. For his size we expected to see a bit more short-area power jolting blockers back at the point of attack. Lacks great hand technique taking on blockers at the second level; lateral agility sifting through the wash looks to be adequate. On offense, he displays great hands and concentration as a pass catcher. Plucks the ball smoothly in stride and transitions upfield quickly. Can be a load for smaller defensive backs to arm-tackle when he picks up momentum through the second level; breaks a lot of first contact. Flashes some shake and deceptive elusiveness as well and can be a mismatch on linebackers with quickness off the line and ability to maneuver in space and find the soft spots. While he lacks ideal size for a prototypical tight end prospect he shows he can absorb the big hit over the middle and is a strong drive blocker who gets into a defenders pads and finishes. May make an ideal H-back and a guy you could really get creative with moving around an offense. Overall, Williams brings a lot to the table in terms of versatility, toughness and athleticism. May not be a guy who lights it up on the combine circuit with great speed and quickness measurables buts projects to be a very solid starter at the next level and guy who could be productive in all three phases of the game which is invaluable.
