Funny how Parcells with Miami and Dimitroff in Atlanta had no problem upgrading the talent level for both teams before last season that resulted in both franchises going from laughingstock to playoff-caliber.

Take away the trade for Cassel and what did Pioli do to upgrade the talent on the Chiefs roster this past offseason, despite having high draft picks in virtually every round of the draft and a ton of salary cap space???

Trading for Matt Vrabel, Signing Zach Thomas (who didn't even make it out of the preseason), Signing Bobby Engram, Signing Mike Goff.

That is it until the preseason when the Chiefs began to panic shop by bringing in the likes of Toomer, Lelie, etc.
