Clausen's first game.
11-of-21 for 146 yards and a touchdown, on the road against the defending Super Bowl champions. Without his best receiver for most of the game.
Quite a few nice throws. He even had a chance to win this game, but 2nd round bust Dwayne Jarrett dropped a pass. Clausen is getting some cover from a decent run game, but for the most part, he was one dropped pass away from threatening the Saints. I've been dead wrong on Bradford, but I've been sold on Clausen for two years now and I'm still liking this kid a lot. |
