The end for T-Rich?

Quote:
Fullback Tony Richardson broke into the league as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 1994. A year later he came to Kansas City where he played for the Chiefs until 2005.
He is, to this day, one of the biggest fan-favorites in Kansas City.
Richardson is now with the New York Jets but, according to the NY Daily News, he may not be for long.
The Daily News has also learned that second-year pro John Conner will be slated to be the starting fullback in 2011. So, veteran fullback Tony Richardson's tenure with the Jets is likely over. Richardson is an unrestricted free agent.
Richardson will turn 40 years old during the 2011 season so retirement would be an obvious option.
I know many of the folks currently running the Chiefs weren't here in the 1990s and early 2000s when Richardson was part of this team but they should know that he's an important person to Kansas City Chiefs fans.
We'll see if this is it for T-Rich. If it is, boy, wouldn't it be nice to see him in red one more time, even if for just a day?
