And alot of their wealth is tied to their teams. Rarely does any owner buy a pro sports team outright, usually they get loans to buy the team. Not saying the owners are close to the bread lines, but they are probably hurting more than you think. A majority of the players can go overseas and make decent money. The owners are still stuck with the teams that are costing more than they are making since they are generating no revenue right now.
