Alonso almost certainly is going to be your opening day 1B. With Volquez you can probably write some the bad this year off as fallout from last year when he had TJ and that PEDs suspension. A change in scenery could do him a world of good. Ultimately they did trade you like 3 of their top 10 prospects 2 of whom were top 5 prospects along with Volquez which is way more than Oakland got for Trevor Cahill and Latos isn't _that_ much better than Cahill.
