Scott Pioli's TRUE "One Regret"........

Today I was sitting there at the game. My family and friends were all minding their own, as was I, when we noticed something a little peculiar. There was a smell of fart and nacho cheese in the air. Many of us looked around, scanning the seats in our vicinity for the culprit.

When we looked just in front as people got up during halftime, we found that Scott Pioli was sitting just in front of us! It was odd, seeing him out of that fancy suit, but we knew it was him. We decided to approach our dear GM and found that he was actually very conversational. We asked him about previous draft years and picks he passed up on. He said he wasn't sure about Russel Wilson when we asked for his opinion. He noted that during the draft he wasn't too sure that he had the caliber to be his burrito eating buddy - plus, he'd already been doing that for years with Dorsey, so it didn't really matter. When asked about Cassel, he stated that people are really throwing him under the bus undeservedly. Scott doesn't think it's Matt's fault the team is playing badly, but suspects they're all a little weak because Crennel has been stealing all of the food.

Finally, I had to ask. What about the fan who threatened him and his daughter? Scott said this was really misconstrued by the media. He had just taken the man's hot dog and he was, rightfully, angry. Pioli just didn't know how to otherwise satisfy his appetite, and had a rough time explaining to his 9-year-old daughter why people dislike him so much. He said it's hard having such a hefty food addiction.

When I asked him if he had one regret, he responded thusly:

"My only regret is this. During the offseason, I decided I wanted to be like a normal "fan" and bought some season tickets. Not even close to the field, just so I could get a real perspective. When purchasing the tickets, I really had no clue how small the seats in this stadium would be! I know that next year I can't pass up the chance to buy at least three seats so that I can truly spread myself out."

As he was leaving the game he came up to us and said he truly enjoyed our conversation. He handed us some 20% OFF COUPONS to use, and suggested getting some nachos the next time we were at a game, and to sit with him so that we could share.

Take from this what you will, but Pioli was a really great guy to talk to. I think it's silly to disrespect a man for trying to feed himself, especially when he was around his family - let alone his child. I hope that idiot isn't a member of the planet...And I still think it's time for a change like most of you, but the message needs to be relayed in a civil manner. The man just wants to eat.
