Personally, I don't see any uncertainty. Geno Smith has as many tools as you could possibly want in a QB at the next level, has the experience, etc. Chiefs are desperate for a solid QB. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Especially considering that they took Poe last year, signed Winston, drafted Allen and Stephenson in 2012, have two of the top pass rushers in the AFC in Hali and Houston with Houston being young and Hali in his prime, have the second best running back in the NFL, an All-Pro at ILB in Johnson, a Pro Bowl level CB in Flowers, a Pro Bowl safety in Berry, and have filled up the middle of the offensive line with young, talented guys.

Three things were missing from the Chiefs. The three most important things:

A solid leader at GM, a good head coach and a QB that had the potential to be a top five guy at the position.

Two of those three have been rectified. Only Geno remains. And there is no way that either Dorsey nor Reid are that ****ing stupid to pass on a guy like Geno, a guy with that type of ceiling, at the most important position on a team.

Geno is the pick.
