MSN Red Zone Monday Breakdown

Breakdown by Danan Hughes

The good:

Houston, Hali, Poe

Smith spreading the ball around to 9 WR's

Smith's throw to Hemmingway for the TD. Spotlighted how he froze the
Safety on the right side before he threw the ball. Threw the ball where only Hemmingway could get it

Smith recognizing the mismatches with JC in the passing game

Utilization of the backs in the passing game

Poe: Just playing the game. Not thinking, not reading and reacting

The bad:
No JC = no offensive threat

The Meh:
Fisher....was ok but still has to improve but has good athletic ability and when compared to Joeckel he came out the better of the two

Offensive line needs to be more consistent

Game Ball:
Bob Sutton

Point of note: on 610 this afternoon, Maas was singing the praises of Poe and said he can be something really special and can open up the defense for the rest of the guys.
