He had a clear path to Vick when his guy lost assignment and peeled over to double Houston. Vick cringed away from the onrushing Poe-Train, tripping over his lineman's feet and fell right in front of Houston. Never show in the box score but that was essentially a split sack. Poe and Houston both are playin out of their minds so far!! And Berry, and DJ, and flowers last night, oh, and that Tamba guy is pretty good too! |

Thanks again for another fun read.
I loved the gameplan last night, Reid did exactly what i'd hoped... he pounded the ball, 38 rushes to 35 passes. Smith had solid yardage numbers, Charles had a very even game producing both as a runner and receiver, Avery went off, the defense created pressure and sacks all night long... loved the shot Vick took from DJ right after the td pass, he paid dearly for that td. These guys just continue to grow, I couldn't be happier and no negativity around here is going to kill it. |

KCFX does not run games over internet anymore. I think it has something to do with I heart radio. I use KFOR in Lincoln, NE. They have a clear stream. They are about 30 seconds behind depending on the network carrying the game. I have been to the point where the ref voice is synced up. The only problem with it is I learn about the play on CP before it happens on my tv. Did not have that problems until I joined CP.

But did McCluster's muffed punt help save the game? The offense had to travel further. Forcing the Eagles to burn their 3 time outs. Bow Down to the McCluster |

Interesting that the Chiefs sit at 3-0, having just scored 26 points (yes I realize 7 of those points were from a defensive touchdown) on the road, without much involvement from their #1 WR (Bowe) and #3 WR (McCluster).

I think for the most part, our team is in good physical condition. Defenses chase Smith and Charles around like rabbits, so by the fourth quarter, they're gassed, and we can start to ground pound. I like Schwartz, I think he's a decent player. Fisher is a rookie and is going to have rough days. He's faced two good defensive fronts the last two weeks, so he's been thrown into the deep end. Albert has a bad shoulder, and maybe that's why he was cheating back on pass protection. I do worry about Smith getting whacked though. At least he hasn't been traumatized to the point of going "Fetal Cassel." Hope that never happens to him.

DT was one of the best pass rushers ever, and the clear leader of the defense. But he was a liability in both run support, though his backside pursuit was outstanding, and in pass coverage. Justin Houston is almost certainly the most complete player at OLB since Bobby Bell, who I still believe is the best overall OLB to have ever played the game.
