Nazi Youth Chiefs Fans.

So apparently, if you're not jizzing in your pants about being 3-0, and you see the problems this team has as being legitimate, then you are not a "real fan".

I gave up my true fan car a LONG time ago(when I came to CP as a matter of fact), and it's NOT being reinstated, EVER.

There is PLENTY to be pessimistic about in regards to this franchise, especially at the incredibly uninspiring Quarterback position.

"Oooh! He doessn't throw picks"!

"Oooh! He doesn't shit himself"!

Herp-derp.

But to say that I or anyone else with this view doesn't enjoy winning is ridiculous. And to say that I or anyone else with this view doesn't "deserve to enjoy the wins" is ****ing arrogant and short-sighted at best.

This franchise has, by my estimation, about 40+ years of FAIL to atone for, so forgive me if I don't just hop on ol' Andy's fat lap and start slurping his dick.

Prove it Chiefs.

And **** YOU to the New Brownshirts of Chiefs Planet.

If they manage to get the playoffs and god forbid make some noise a few years in a row you will be living and dying with each game once again.

Right now the fan base is in 1989 8-7-1 Chief mode.
No, it's also how the team has treated me as a STH, and other factors. Back in 1993 when we were one game from the Superbowl, King Carl sent out a really ugly letter to the STH about Super Bowl tickets. Do NOT call the Chiefs, we WILL NOT help you get tickets, LEAVE US ALONE, yap yap yap.

At that time it had been 24 years since the Chiefs had a sniff of the Super Bowl, and at that point my family had been STH for 27 years. And when push came to shove, the Chiefs really told us what they thought of us as STH. We were a nuisance.

Now, tickets are even more expensive, and the average guy can't afford to go, anyway. You'd have to win a contest to have any chance of going, unless you want a second mortgage on the house. It's a game for rich people to sell advertising, and network in the suites behind the "gold seats," and make money, that's it.

I know the Chiefs won't give a rip about me when push comes to shove, so I don't take winning and losing personally any more. We're really not part of the equation. Like their own PR wanks said quite eloquently last year "Your choice to be a fan."

Sorry, but undying love and commitment is a two way street. Once you see the man behind the curtain, it's hard to live or die for a corporate enterprise.

Was this just KC/Carl's way of operating or just standard stuff that most front offices say to ticket holders?

You don't know what choking means. The Royals haven't even been in a position to choke.

Royals are going to finish with a better record than the Orioles. Burn.

Very poor PR, but I think it reflects worse if the Chiefs are in the minority/the only club that doesn't do anything to help STHs from being in the running to get Superbowl tickets should that occur.
