Geno Smith vs Alex Smith - It's on.

It's on now. Geno Smith is probably going to be starting for the Jets this season.

Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

So who's gonna win more NFL games over that time period?

Put your ten pounders on the table and make a vote

Alex: 11 wins
Geno: 8 wins

So do we talk about how their offense stalled in the second half and let the falcons back into it? Or how he had less than 200 yards passing? Or any of the things we'd crucify our qb for?

He only threw 20 passes.

The guy averaged 10 yards per attempt.

I'm done ripping the guy. I'm happy with our situation but he's winning with replacement level talent on offense.

It will never, ever be a level playing field on this board. Ever.

So they neutered him so he wouldn't turn it over?

I like alex, I think hes gonna do great things for us. I mean we are sold into him after 2 2nd round picks. Not completely but close to it. That being said, I think Geno wouldn't exactly be crucified for pulling out the "W" against a highly talented Atlanta team his rookie year. This year is seeming like a great start to Geno's career if New York doesn't crucify him first. Alex just gets more shit because of how long he has been in the league. Im not saying I expect alex to be the next peyton manning/Brett favre (even though im holding out 100% hope that he does) But if you look at both the Broncos/Vikings, they were both shit teams until Peyton came in and the same with Brett and the Vikings. So you hope with the talent we have on our team, that alex can produce Winning records and good #'s to help carry us to the ship. But so far hes on pace for 4k + yards a good amount of TD's and we are 5-0 so I don't give a fuuuuuk
