I was there for a conference in 2011 at the Marriot and Westin just a couple blocks away from Lucas Oil.

It smelled funky. The entire downtown. It didn't smell like city. It smelled like ass.

Interesting.....I've worked downtown for 2 1/2 years approximately 100 yards (if that) from the Marriott you are talking about. I've never experienced that smell save for the times I have gotten stuck behind a bus on a hot summer day. Maybe it was something they were cooking at Champ's or Shula's that day.
