Did the Chiefs/Reid hold anything back the last time against Indy?

I've stated that I think Reid held back Charles and his best plays the last time we played Indy. Others have said that was their best effort, just a bad day. What say you?

If you go back and watch that game it certainly looks like the Chiefs players played like Pro Bowlers. By that I mean that they thought they were playing in the Pro Bowl.

On offense we came out and did whatever we wanted in scoring so quickly. It seems like after that a combination of "we can score on these guys at will" and "how much does this game really mean" led to the offense just mailing it in the rest of the game.

I know we gave up some plays on defense, but again, there were a lot of mistakes, missed tackles, and receivers running open. Yet we still just gave up 23 points which isn't horrible considering how bad our offense was playing.

To say we weren't trying to win is foolish, but at the same time to say we gave the entire effort (both coaches and players) for all 60 minutes in the process of losing is also pretty shortsighted.

i absolutely believe so. in fact, it's the only thing giving me hope the chiefs will win the game.

they've been on a two week mind**** for the colts. first they came into that game having slaughtered a couple teams, then came out and didn't even play their whole deck ---and then one week later decide to rest the starters and still played a great game.

now indy is like wtf man? who are the chiefs....

andy reid is a psychological genius

No. Absolutely not.

If you want to talk about players efforts in the game, I think they probably knew the last two didn't matter, but that in itself brings up some bad stuff.

They got their ass beat. It happens.

It also doesn't have much bearing on them playing again this week.

Dustin Colquitt claims the Chiefs held back against the Colts in week 16. Does that give you more confidence in Saturday's game?

If Charles gets 25-30 touches...a lot of Denver azzholes will be puckering tomorrow night.

Is there any doubt that this has been a hell of lot more innovative with the motions, play actions, bootlegs?
