We will never be capable of hating the Chiefs. The best we can do is not care about football. I thought I had brought myself to that point over the last few weeks, but this loss still hurt. However, compared to things like the 1995 playoff game, it hurts a lot less, so that's progress. I am convinced that the key to happiness is to move on from the NFL.

I know exactly how you feel. I lived it.

Looking back, Art Modell did me a huge favor when he moved and renamed the Browns. I got to keep the NFL, leave behind the horrible pain of seeing the team I loved lose, and none of it was in my control or my fault.

I actually wonder if the best thing for the Chiefs and their fans would be a move to L.A. They could better compete for free agents and the league would actually take them seriously. Plus, we wouldn't have to continue this charade that the team is named for H. Roe Bartle, the nomadic, arrowhead-collecting former mayor.

Come on, Rain Man. You're too good a poster to put bullshit like this out there. I can only assume that frustration has temporarily taken over.

I'm dead serious. We keep saying that the team was named after H. Roe Bartle, and yet our team logo is an arrowhead and we play in Arrowhead stadium and we have people dressed like Indians riding horses on the field when we score. It's time that we stopped the charade. It's not fooling anybody.

Or are you talking about the Los Angeles stuff?
