Rent a Championship / Dosent bother me as much

This is a quarterback driven league. That's really all there is to it.

Without a quarterback, we were a team struggling to make 9-7 like every other team without a quarterback. A good season was 10-6. A really great season was 11-5.

But if you have a great quarterback, the low bar for a good season is the playoffs - and if you don't do it there, that quarterback is a choker who may never be able to get the team over the hump, and a great season is a Superbowl win. There's not much gray area there, but at least you're in the right discussion.

I have no problems with luring a great quarterback to your franchise who puts your team in the right discussion. The beautiful thing is that we have a GM who understands this better than anybody in the league. I hope he's willing to "rent" a few more AFC Championships on his way to a second induction in the HOF.
