It's not that simple. Your first two points are more than valid. But he doesn't help the situation sometimes. That first pass of the game is the exact reason why teams can load the box and put all that pressure on the oline. He also has missed a number of passes since the BUF game and also taken his fair share of silly sacks.

It's a tough combination of all 3 parts right now on offense.

The early game 20-yard completion to Fasano near the goal line in traffic was a thing of beauty and a thing Alex rarely did with the 49ers. He would usually demand more separation that that. That was a beautiful pass.
