I say that all the time, don't use it against me. That's exactly my point. People would say he's not a very explosive QB, but when you have a sustained pattern something is going right. I think it's mostly that he doesn't turn the ball over. He shouldn't get complete credit for his win/loss record. But no QB should really. It's not like the NBA, you have to have a well balanced team. That's why Marty used to win so many games. They'd play efficient football.

This statement gets overused.

Straight up win it like Rodgers? No, never.

But it's a team game. Saying this is the same as the other side using win loss record to justify individual play.

I'd you've got a qb in the top half of the league (arguable if we do or not, I'm not going therr) you've got a chance if you have a good/great team around him.

you have to take chances in order to have nice things. Take chances and great things can happen. Dont take chances and its harder to have great things. WE as Chiefs fans should have a masters degree in this shit. I dont know why most of the fanbase hasnt caught on yet. Its amazing to me.

What do you do with Marvin Lewis if the Bengals lose today?

I remember reading if the Bengals lose, it will be the sixth one-and-done in the postseason.

If that is all he can be at best? then no... this Chiefs team is not good enough.

In other words, if the Chiefs talent around the QB position requires an elite QB to win it all? then no.. Alex will likely never be that elite QB.

Problem with the KC talent last year? bottom 5 offensive line... bottom 5 WR corps... worst? or bottom 3 rush defense? DEAD LAST in defensive turnovers.

That is a lot of suck.. the kind of suck that only an elite QB might... MIGHT.. be able to compensate for.

Marvin Lewis has now been Bengals coach for 12 years. He's about to become 0-6 in the playoffs. There probably isn't any other coach in sports with that kind of tenure and that kind of playoff futility.

How does he still have a job?

Hown many throws did he make that should have been intercepted? More than 16.

He's super aggressive. That's not a bad thing all the time, but it's not always the way to play.
