Chickillo's apparently having a good game?
I can't catch the game right now. :/ He's probably not a fit in 3-4 defenses now that he's slimmed down. |

My thoughts exactly.
Dude is a beast. He's very reminiscent of Gabe Jackson last season. Anchors extremely well, very powerful and once he's locked onto a defender, it's pretty much over. He carries his 320 very well and his functional on-field strength will translate to the NFL. It's why he's been on all of my 2015 mocks. |

So what round does Miller go in? 2nd or 3rd?

Who knows?
Could be anywhere from 2nd to 5th. Last year, a lot of teams had Gabe Jackson as the best guard in the draft and he went in the middle of the third (though, after a terrific rookie season, in hindsight, he would have/should have been picked before a lot of the "tackles" did who ended up at guard who weren't anywhere close to his performance). NFL teams get fascinated by "athleticism" and "speed" and power guys like Jackson and Larry Warford drop into the third round even though they actually end up being the best OG's at the next level because of their power. John Miller is very similar to Jackson and Warford and I think he'll make a terrific guard at the next level. He's fundamentally sound, is strong like bull, maintains his balance well and has excellent on-field awareness. Right now, I'd say he'll go where Warford and Jackson went and he'll come off the board in the third. Last edited by Saccopoo; 01-18-2015 at 11:26 AM.. |

Andy loves his powerful olinemen. His limited ability as a pulling guard sucks for Charles, but probably wouldn't deter Andy and Dorsey.
