According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

I'm not giving Brady a pass on this and it kind of sounded like that in my last post. There's a difference between before and after inspection.

I'm only giving Belichick a pass because this goes against his M.O when he's cheated in the past. Doesn't mean for a second he doesn't realize how deep of shit he'd be in if he was caught and is back peddling. I just need more evidence before I crucify him.

I just can't accept this as some big deal UNLESS the Pats did this for the first time in the playoffs this year. If so, sure. More likely, however, is that the Pats and other teams have been doing this forever. Seems a lot like the Brett pine tar thing to me.

Personally I think all league officials should avoid attending playoff games except the Super Bowl. It's just a perception thing but it does seem to sort of put out a bad perception.
