According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

I posted another link earlier which reported that not all the balls were as under inflated as previously reported, only one, but not who originally claimed that.

errr...no. A guy with a bone to chew with Belichick may be using his new position of power to leak information that makes things look worse and causes a bigger stink, and/or handling things in a way intentionally designed to make something look bad/worse (i.e. the balls are deflated by 2.0 PSI, oh wait, more like 1.0!).

NFL head of officiating Dean Blandino confirmed today that the NFL didn’t log the exact PSI of each football. [ I asked earlier that these would need to be known as a key to the case.] According to Blandino, when officials inspect footballs to see if they’re properly inflated, they simply approve them or disapprove them.

In other words, although the Patriots did play with under-inflated footballs, the NFL hasn’t kept detailed records of whether those footballs were slightly under-inflated (which could be the result of a change in temperature) or significantly under-inflated (which would indicate that someone purposely let air out of the footballs).

Or I'd add if they were inflated to the 12.5 minimum and how many of them?

This scenario is a bit more like a teacher/student, you turn in the homework, and I verify that it is right. If the teacher doesn't count something as wrong, the student will assume everything is okay.

For me personally, when I have deflated basketballs after over filling them, I don't always measure how much I let out and just say, okay that feels alright. So really, a lot of this has seen like much ado about nothing to me personally.

I am expecting you to back up your own claim with a link to a report saying he is not behind it. I am willing to change my mind on what my article claimed about Kensil, if you can provide a report that says otherwise. We already know it's a fact he is in charge of the investigation, no? Also, why is it okay for your side to claim the balls were "intentionally" deflated with no proof or impugning Brady as a liar just because of BB's past actions?
It comes across as the pot calling the kettle black.

As to how many balls were 2 psi low or 1 psi low, I already posted and linked different sources earlier in the thread saying that it was closer to 1 psi for most of the balls with 1 ball being 2 psi lower.

So you are saying then nothing happened AFTER the Ref looked at the ball?
