Pats Cheating Comfirmed

According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

Dude you followed dog turds like Cassel and Pioli to a Chiefs board. That is sadder than your blatant homerism.

Same NFL dude that investigated the Saints right? Was his final judgment against them a fair one?

Frankly my dear, I dont give a damn if the balls against the Colts were slightly underinflated... the Pats would've whipped their asses with or without them, c'mon.

Luck wasnt beating Brady with a helium ball, a regular ball, an underinflated ball whatever... the padiwan got schooled by the master in that game, thats all I need to know.

Right now, thats actually the furthest thing from my mind... how far will the Chiefs go in 2015, all of this other bullshit, is just that... bullshit.

Can KC atleast make the AFCCG with Smith?

Not a chance in hell. The Chiefs will do nothing with Reid/Smith.

Again, you're assuming folks are saying things they aren't. I don't think anybody really thinks the Colts would have won that day, but that just means the unsanctioned competitive advantage the Pats created (a.k.a. "cheating") didn't need to happen. Much like speeding, just because you would have made it to work on time doesn't mean that you weren't speeding (so you get the ticket).

As for the 2015 Chiefs, the AFCCG, and Smith.... I'd phrase it more as "Can the 2015 Chiefs make it to the AFCCG despite Smith?" And to that I'd say "yes" as long as:

* They don't suffer too many injuries (I know, duh...)
* WRs (you can't play in the post-2001 NFL without WRs who don't catch and can't draw the unfortunate DPIs that the modern NFL thrives on)
* They use FA to shore-up the O-line to a huge extent
* Figure out a way to rotate the nose tackle a lot more.
* Learn how to use the no-huddle/hurry-up A LOT MORE.
* Decide that "calm and reserved" sucks balls for athletes in a physical and emotional game, and it sucks for the fans too, so the team needs some on-field leadership that'll get into the faces of the slackers and pump-up the team all game long.
* They don't mess-up the extra picks they have in the draft - they can't afford any more mistakes like Fisher, they need "impact players" not projects!! (but that won't be about next year)
