***** Official Paxton Lynch Thread *****
![]() COLLEGE: MEMPHIS YEAR: JUNIOR HEIGHT: 6'7" WEIGHT: 245 LBS Lynch just upset Ole Miss, coming back from down 14 to throw fro 384 yards and three touchdowns. Baller. Scouts: Lynch could be 'big time', Coleman like Colts' Dorsett By Lance Zierlein NFL Media draft analyst Published: Oct. 21, 2015 at 12:12 p.m. Updated: Oct. 21, 2015 at 01:37 p.m. NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein is constantly talking to NFL and college sources about players in the college game. In this space each week, Zierlein will share some of what NFL folks are discussing in their circles. The scoop: "Paxton Lynch is moving up. I need to study him more, but guys with his size that can move like he does -- he has a chance to be big time." -- NFC area scout on Memphis' junior QB The skinny: Before the season, I noted that Lynch had the size, arm and athleticism that teams look for, but that he needed to hit the explosive plays at a higher clip. Lynch has done just that this season. He had 26 passes of 25-plus yards in 413 attempts (6 percent of his throws) last season, but those numbers have risen considerably this season with 18 throws of 25-plus yards in 199 attempts (9 percent of his throws). At 6-foot-7, Lynch is surprisingly athletic outside of the pocket and his arm talent is definitely not in question. Lynch has shown considerable growth as a quarterback over the last three seasons and his stock will be highly discussed whenever he decides to enter the draft. * * * http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/n...et-of-ole-miss

There isn't a single thing about this guy that is impressive to me. He throws an ugly ball and his release is nothing to admire. Arm strength is underwhelming for his size, unathletic footwork, shit for competition. Dude is Dan Orlovsky.

Player of the game: Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch. The junior showed all the traits that have made him a rising star in the college football landscape. An NFL arm, accuracy, underrated athleticism and smart decision-making were on display in the Tigers’ win. His mastery of the offense and game management allowed the Tigers to control the game with confidence, even as Tulsa put together some big plays of its own as the Golden Hurricane tried to rally. Lynch finished 32-of-44 for a career-high 447 yards and four touchdowns while leading the Tigers to 7.33 yards per play and 704 total yards of offense. http://www.nfl.com/videos/rich-eisen...emiah-calls-in |

Plan on going to see him when he comes to play U of Houston. Should be a good game, and a great test for Lynch in a shootout.

Really bad feet, very good arm strength, good release, above-average but not consistently great accuracy. I dislike Memphis' offensive system. Lots of quick, short, 1 read passes (reminds me of KC). You will nod off watching most of his plays and then they will go deep and he will throw an amazing ball.
