Good. Let them sink $20 million per year into his contract and wreck their cap only to have him go on IR early on when he gets killed behind that horrible offensive line. I like this plan. Make it happen ElFraud.

This. When Lynch couldn't beat out cum bubble in Kubiak's "QB friendly system" it was a bad sign.

And yeah, if Elway wants it done, he can get it done. Horseface has proven 2 things:

1. He cannot operate a facsimile communication system.
2. He is not operating from a position of fear. He doesn't resign Damon Hutard because for 6 games he shut his eyes and chucked it in the general direction of Tony Gonzales. He doesn't resign guys that won't live up to their contract because they are "fan favorites". If he sees a guy he wants, he goes and gets them and doesn't make "safe" moves or picks.

Romo is old and fragile. He's not someone you build around; he's someone you sign when you're a QB away from winning it all. The Broncos are literally the only team where he makes sense. If the Broncos D dominates in the second half of this season, and they lose in the playoffs due to subpar O/QB, you can guarantee Romo will be a Bronco next year.
