Bucs abused the defense...

I don't care what you have to say about Smith or the offense. The Chiefs defense got absolutely ass pumped by the Bucs. They got one stop because Winston dropped the ball. When the game was on the line they couldn't stop anything. They gave up 5-8 ypc runs all day long. WR's were running around wide open and no one even sniffed Winston's jock.

Blame who you want on offense and there is blame to be had by them and Reid. But the defense killed us today.

And the bigger question is why we ran him at the teeth of the Bucs defense.

We were sitting next to a bucs fan and he was laughing about it the whole game (really cool guy, though). We'd let Ware try to smash it up the middle and he's thank us for it. He says the off-tackle runs have been gouging them all season but the one area they've been consistently strong at is defeating the power run game.

Now it could just be fan perception, I have no idea. But it sure seemed to hold true yesterday. The lanes up the middle just weren't there except for on the Wildcat play. Yet on the rare occasions that Reid ran the ball, that's where he ran it.

When a team plays that bad all the way around, it's usually because of bad coaching and a bad game plan. The offense didn't play bad overall like the defense did. But they played bad at the critical points in the game.

If one person is to be blamed for yesterday it's Reid. I would say Coaching in general though. The game plan\play calling on both sides of the ball stunk and stunk bad.

I wonder if they thought they could go vanilla and win to hide stuff from Denver next week?

Because Reid is a ****ing idiot. The entire coaching staff looked like 1st graders out there.

The pick drive had Kelce's long catch in it and that was actually a pretty nice play. Kelce just couldn't quite keep himself in bounds down the sideline.

What sucks is that at the 5 yard line, Andy Reid dialed up another one of those ****ing single read plays that neuters his offenses ability to adjust to how the defense handles the play. Smith had one place to go with that ball - a completely congested middle. He should've fired it out the back and lived to fight another day but it was still an absolute garbage play call.
Ah thanks! You are correct sir. These losses don't bother me much anymore, but many ****s were said on Sunday.

I think Reid gave up too quickly, he went 3 straight runs on the 2nd series which they were able to hold us. The ensuing drive we went 3 passes and were held again. at the worst of those two drives, we should at least net 3 points. At the worst.

The offense needs a balanced mix, not streaks of vanilla and chocolate
