Game ball Berry, but....

Alex Smith went vertical today and he was nails minus the overthrown pass. He looked damn good today.

Raiders D in Arrowhead this Thursday night(although I hate Thurs games) will be experience a Chiefs offense they have never experienced before IMHO.

Short week, ugh. The players don't care for the them either the only thing in our favor is it's at home.

I have never cared what Smith's stats accumulate to however, he cannot miss easy wide open WRs in clutch time EVER anymore going forward. It is totally UNACCEPTABLE at this point in the season. He has to be razor sharp in order to put the game away PERIOD !! You rarely get 2nd chances come playoff time. Just saying.

To be fair, the whole point of Andy Reid's offense is to have high YAC numbers. It's like knocking the Royals for bleeding a team to death with 5 consecutive singles. That's what they are usually trying to do.

I agree, our offense is extremely conservative particularly in the passing game.
My confidence in Alex Smiths arm if he has to come back from say 10 points with 3-4 minutes to go are slim to none.

The pass Kelce needed a jetpack to haul in was much worse than the miss to Ware.

It's not Smith being "conservative" in the passing game. He's executing Reid's offense.

A lot of time I think he gets maligned for "missing" someone who was open when he was probably just working through the progression the way it was designed.

Reid's offense is a YAC offense.

I don't have much faith in Smith any more nor do I in our OL run blocking. How we have such a hard time running the ball is mid boggling. I realize team want us to throw but last season we ran well and this season we can't

I've been on Alex Smith's ass all year, but he played pretty good today. Would have liked more points out of the offense, and the running game was ass today. And Alex missed a couple late in the game that we really could have used. But if Alex played like this more consistently, I wouldn't bitch about him.

Thats probably part of it, but the line isnt providing much room to roam either... they've been quite disappointing in that facet IMO

Every QB in the league misses passes. It happens and will continue to do so.

Jeff Allen was a beast last year and opened up holes. Ehinger was doing a decent job of that too.

Fulton is a big downgrade from both
