It's interesting. I'm taking the bye because pit could even be beaten. But basically you could say @hou/@oak is better than bye/pit. I don't agree but I think you could make the point.

i don't think your scenario is a possibility but to your overall question........always take the bye and home game. You win 2 games to get to the Super Bowlnot 3.
