Reminds me of my one brush with Chiefs stars, the exact moment not to engage.
The day after the playoff loss to Miami. Jonathan Hayes and Christian Okoye standing in line behind me at the Bannister Mall Waldenbooks. I'm standing there muttering 'stay cool' to myself, when my mom [knowing how pissed I was about the playoff loss] pointed to a Chiefs calendar on the kiosk and yelled 'guess you don't want one of these, huh?' Mortification. |
