Smith is the best QB on the roster right now

If Smith goes down this year the team is ****ed. He's clearly the best QB on the roster right now.

Man you Alex Smith haters are something else.
It was in response to the statement that Alex "threw the ball all over yard".

Passes 5 yards and under are not "throwing the ball all over the yard".

Still very impressive considering J Houston was out pretty much all year but he did not have the impact with our run D that I was expecting.

Anyway, the best defenses are #1 at both. The 2013-2014 Seahawk defenses were the No 1 in yds and ppg. The Broncos in 2015 were #1 yds and #4 in ppg.

That's what I would like to see our D become. Hopefully this year if we stay healthy.

Crazy to think a Chief fan can have a different opinion than the majority on this board. I know. But yes we do exist.

Not everyone thinks that we can't win the SB with a great game manger. It's been done before by other teams plenty of times.

Derek Carr had less YPA last year than Smith. What did he do? Nothing. However people want Carr

No, you guys are all psychotic with your creepy obsession with him. Seriously, I've looked through your posts and 95% are Alex Smith related in some way. Maybe you all are family members. I don't know. But whoever you are, you sure as **** aren't Chiefs fans and I can't ****ing wait until you all go away, and I know you will.

He's the most over-hyped player in recent memory....he's never beaten a 10-6 or better team that wasn't starting Osweiler. You would think he was consistently beating Rodgers or Brady.

Carr had a higher YPC.

But that really has nothing at all to do with this discussion.

You can not characterize that game for Alex as having thrown the ball all over the yard.

He was sharp.
He did a good job of placing the ball, giving his receivers an opportunity to make plays when they caught them.

Derek Carr has SIXTY touchdown passes over the last 2 seasons. Had close to a 97 passer rating last season. And god forbid a 3rd year player threw for slightly less yards per attempt than an 11 year vet.

Its funny how Alex fans never use even playing fields when comparing Alex to other QBs. Should we compare Alex's third year to Carr's? I wonder who was better.

Does he gets to buy a SB trophy if he trades in them there TD stats? does he even gets to beat the Chiefs or make noise in them playoffs? with them shiny TD stats? No? Okay, no then.

Also, you're the only person I've talked to online who knows who Abner Haynes was.

He'll be gone after this year I'm sure so if you hate him that much, don't watch. Find something better to do with your time.

Yes, this is what "he has to say". You'll find that many low information fans like to say it as well.
You know, morons.

Truth. Was it necessary to let Smith attach himself like a barnacle to this squad just so Reid could point to him and say to his other players, "HAI GUYZ LOOK; CONTINUITY"!
You can only hope that all of these other magical, non-football qualities of his that we hear so much about have had a lasting impact on the creation of a winning culture, because the performances themselves could have been EASILY replicated.

I agree that he's slightly over-hyped

But Oakland was a real joke before him. Now they are a contender. Not all because of him but he's a large part of it.

We've got Tiger who shlobs his uncle's knob and now his cousin, PAChiefsFan who presumably does it to his pa, who also happens to be Tiger's uncle!!! Apparently, this guy shoots wads into people's mouths and it turns them into Alexsexuals.

I rest my case. The D was nothing special other than PPG and takeaways.

I want this D to be elite and they are not there yet.. Plenty of room for improvement. Hopefully this year we see it.
Now do the offense
