And most here would argue Mahomes is better than Watson. Mahomes has had nearly 6 months since he was drafted, and two since the season started to learn.

Let him play and get real game experience. Then he and Smith can continue learning in the film room from a different perspective. And Mahomes can get a game or two of experience in the playoffs, which could make a huge difference going forward.

Mahomes is not replacing Alex this year. Its not going to happen for any reason besides injury. Doesn't matter if we lose another 4 games. we are 1/2 way through the season. That concrete has been poured.
